Im not a believer in Chet Holmgrem or Ousmane Dieng so I wasn't impressed by OKC's draft. I think the Knicks fleeced them for 3 first rounders just to get Dieng but they have 47 other first rounders so I guess it's not a big hit to them.
I like the Mavs getting Jaden Hardy. May be some insurance if Brunson bolts to the Knicks.

Malika is good..and nice to look at..but she talks/talked too much. and I mean damn..can we get Redick or Jay Will or Richard Jefferson or somebody in there besides Perk? If him and Malika mentioned 1 more time Perk wants to draft a big I was gonna throw the tv
Ha yeah, Perk was terrible. He repeated the same things over and over. I honestly don't think he brings much to the table.
Oh and some of his player comps are just stupid.
Banchero is Simmons + Beasley
Chet is apparently Giannis + Porzingis Jabari is KD Murray is Siakam Mathurin is OG
Cool Cool.
He also insisted New Orleans needed a big despite them having a plethora of bigs and a clear need at PG. I saw that Dyson Daniels pick a mile away. When New Orleans does pick Dyson, Perk rambles on about how it's what they need, how drafting wings is the top priority these days etc etc - as if he already forgot what he had literally said a few minutes prior.
He's just basically if you took Skip Bayless' dumbass takes and transported him into someone who sounds like he is both high and drunk at the same time.

lol I did catch the Banchero is Beasley and Simmons. I think he only said Simmons because Jay had just said he was a good passer. and Woj is good..but he's not a TV guy, not made for TV..and all his TV takes are awkward to watch.

I think he's a goner. His dad is an assistant coach The Knicks president is like his godfather or something like that (also his dad's former agent) His agent is the son of the Knicks president of basketball ops Now it could come down to money as the Mavs can offer him the most but I think if Brunson indicates he wants to go, the Mavs and Knicks will probably work out something.

This is what I'm thinking. Dallas just needs to ask Brunson and his agent straight up "If $ was similar, is your preference to stay with us or do you want to go to New York?" If his answer is New York, then Dallas just needs to go to the Knicks and tell them instead of them bothering to look around to use picks to dump salary to create cap space, the ideal situation is to just make a clean S&T.
Brunson to NY on a 4 year deal at X amount per year
Burks, Noel, 1st rd pick to DAL
NY gets their guy and keeps most of the picks they gained by trading 11 DAL doesn't lose Brunson for nothing and gets two capable veterans to help them next season (or be trade chips as expiring deals)

Still not sure what the Thunder did
Some combination of asset collecting mode + tanking
Favors picked up his 10.2M option. Figure OKC sends him home until they can find a trade partner OR they just buy him out.
Dort, Roby, Bazley are young talents, coming off productive seasons, are signed cheaply next season and are hitting free agency in 2023. Kenrich Williams is ancient by their timeline at age 28 in December and also an impending FA signed cheaply. All 4 could be nice trade chips.
After adding 4 rookies, the team needs to make room, so I could see them shopping around these guys for more long term assets.

Given their penchant for future draft picks, I can see OKC willing to move them for a future first. I think a team like the Heat could be a great landing spot for Bazley. He's a defensive minded player that come in and replace some of the production defensively PJ Tucker provides and he's much cheaper. If the Spurs don't blow everything up, I like them as a destination too.
