There it is. Paulo #1
SL: Anthony, Suggs, Franz, Paulo, WCJ. That's not too shabby
Plus still have Fultz, Hampton, Ross, Isaac, Okeke, pick 32 and a ton of cap space.

I wanna see OKC just toss out JRE + Poku + Chet all the same time and go triple towers like what Cleveland was doing.

Thunder trade "multiple 1st rd picks" to NY for #11
Update: 3 conditional 1st rd picks
So OKC nabbed Chet, Dieng and Jalen Williams. That's a lot of length there.

Via BR: "Jalen Duren is being rerouted to Detroit, sources said." So CHA, who needs a C, drafts Duren at #13 and trades him to DET Guess they really will hire D'Antoni.
Via Woj: "The Pistons are sending the Hornets the 2025 first-round pick via Milwaukee in the Duren trade, sources tell ESPN. Detroit got that pick from Portland in the Jerami Grant deal yesterday."
Also apparently it's a 3 team deal with NYK sending Kemba to DET Via Rod Boone: "On top of the future first-round pick, the #Hornets also acquired four second-round picks in the deal for Jalen Duren, league sources tell @theobserver"
So CHA gets 1st rd pick + 4 2nd rd picks, DET gets Duren + Kemba, NYK unloads Kemba's contract

I’m so happy your mock was correct, Jay!!
I wouldn’t have minded Banchero (and he might end up being the best player in the draft), but we avoided Chet (shades of Porzingis), and I (finally) get to root for the homer pick!!
War Damn Eagle!!

Jovic to Miami. Great pick
And blasted Orlando took Houstan at #32. That is who I wanted for the Lakers at #35.

Pippen Jr. has agreed to a two-way NBA contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.
How did he go undrafted? I would have thought he'd be late first early 2nd. Huge steal for 2 way. Lakers also signed Shaq's son Shareef to summer league. No word if Jordan, Magic or Bird have any kids the Lakers can sign.

What the Knicks did tonight:
NYK trades 11th pick to OKC
OKC trades 3 firsts (23 DEN, DET, WASH) to NYK
NYK then trades 23 DEN, 4 seconds to CHA for 13th pick
NYK then trade 13th pick & Kemba Walker to DET for MKE's 25 first
NYK trades 11, Kemba, 4 2nds & gets 3 future 1sts
I'm fine with this. The guy I wanted Detroit got and we traded assets and got assets and opened up cap space. We got Jalen's Dad, lets see if we can get Jalen.
How about that big stiff white guy getting drafted eh? That's not an F that's a Z.

Lakers also got Cole Swider on a two way deal. No clue who he was but he's from Villanova/Syracuse and can shoot threes.
Speaking of kids from the Bulls, Ron Harper Jr. to TOR on a two way deal. He declared in 2021 but returned to school. He declared this year but had one more year of eligibility and goes undrafted.
UCLA Johnny Juzang to Utah on a two way deal.
Nuggets get Collin Gillespie.
My early winner is Detroit who had Ivey fall into their laps at 5 and then they didn't trade much to get Jalen Duren at 13. Plus the story of Ivey's mom playing for the Detroit Shock and his grandfather playing for the Detroit Lions was really cool.
Speaking of family, Cavs drafting Evan's twin bro Isaiah at #49 was fun.
Also gotta like what Houston got. Jabari, Eason and TyTy.
Spurs going Sochan at #9 was surprising but Branham at 20 was a steal and Wesley at 25 was a very Spurs-like pick. Also nabbed Barlow from the Overtime Elite - a 3&D forward.
My prediction for guy drafted in the 2nd round who becomes an early surprise - like Herb Jones, Ayo Dosunmu, KMart Jr, Gafford the last three years is: Kennedy Chandler. The Michigan guy in me wants to say Houstan or Diabate and I also like the Mavs getting Hardy but I really like Chandler and was disappointed Lakers didn't get him. He had a great freshman season but man he also impressed me in the NCAA Tourney watching Tennessee vs Michigan. He went 19 points 9 assists 2 steals. If Tyus Jones leaves Memphis and Ja Morant misses time - which happens - Chandler could be an immediate impact rookie.

I know OKC has a war chest of picks but seeing them trade three 1sts to get #11 to draft Ousmane Dieng on a team that already had like 13 "young talents" signed next season before the draft on top of getting Chet and Jalen Williams at #2 and #12 (and also Jaylin Williams at #34) just seemed odd. Obviously they are going to make moves but SGA is essentially just staring at a really really really talented G-League team next to him.
As for NYK, they now have the ammunition of 1st rd picks to start unloading salary. They dumped Kemba. They avoided the salary of #11. They already tried to unload Fournier onto Boston into their trade exception. All this for..... Brunson. Sure.

Ironically when LA was on the clock, my personal big board had 1,2,4 go off right after them with Procida, Hardy and Chandler.

Definitely liked the draft for the Pistons. From all reports they were thinking about taking Jalen Duren at #5 so to get Ivey to fall in their lap and still be able to jump back in and take Duren is a steal for them. Their new GM comes from OKC so Im not shocked they made some moves on draft night and they got a good nucleus going forward.
If Houston can get it right, they have a solid collection of talent too.
But yeah I was bored for most of the draft.

If him and Malika mentioned 1 more time Perk wants to draft a big I was gonna throw the tv I would've liked to hear more insight from Jay Bilas or another college basketball person mainly because 85% of the names I knew nothing about. I didnt mind Malika as much as Perk bothered me. He knows nothing about college basketball so it was really pointless for him to be there except tell his bad jokes.

Yea, and if Jay went first..Perk would just say the same things Jay said. Like Jay would say such and such guy was a great passing big man. Then Perk..who has no clue who the guy is would say, and he has great court vision and can pass it for a big, etc. I dont really follow college basketball..so I really only knew a handful of guys.
I think the Grizzlies T-Wolves had a good draft getting Walker Kessler and Wendell Moore
Still not sure what the Thunder did
