Gary Trent back to TOR for 3 years 54M. I fully expected this when they opted not to draft Suggs to lock up a nice backcourt of FVV/Trent.
Kormaz back to PHI for 3 years 15M

Via Woj: "Free agent Zach Collins has agreed to a three-year, $22M deal with the Spurs, his agent Mark Bartelstein of @prioritysports tells ESPN."
Remember when the Spurs front office was one to envy. Ever since the Kawhi trade, it's all down hill. This season they enter with a lottery pick and huge cap space and they are basically making Raiders-type moves with reaching for prospects and paying mediocre free agents.
I really hope those last two years aren't fully guaranteed, whether it's a team option or some sort of partial guarantee, because giving this guy 2 guaranteed years, let alone 3, with his injury history would just be nonsense.

Portis back to the Bucks for 2 years 9M. He definitely could have gotten more but good for him for showing loyalty to the team.

Russ, Ellington, Lebron, AD, Dwight Ariza, M. Gasol Two way contracts: Auston Reaves, Joel Ayayi
Building it up. Hopefully some news on THT and perhaps Morris/Wes on the cheap. And you know they're going to sign Jared "Lakers version of Udonis Haslem" Dudley
I'm believing more and more Caruso will sign elsewhere, which is a huge bummer and he'll be missed but I support him going out and getting paid.

If the rumor is true that Patty Mills is heading to the Lakers, then I definitely think Caruso or THT is out.

Nevermind...Zach Collins to Spurs for 3 year 21 mil is the worst lol Nope. Free agent Evan Fournier has agreed to a four-year deal that could be worth as much as $78M with the New York Knicks, source tells ESPN.

Me 3 hours ago: "I really hope that for having a crapload of cap space and all the rumors that have been bandied around that the Knicks offseason doesn't start off spending around 35+M of it on Fournier, Burks and Noel"
Knicks go ahead and spend 140M on Burks, Noel and Fournier

It's a highly questionable move for sure, especially if all 3 years are guaranteed, but the low cost should keep it safe from any ranking of worst free agent signings because if it bombs the impact is minimal. Whereas CP3 earning 30M into age 39 can be killer for your cap, esp. for an owner like Sarver when he is potentially staring at huge deals for Ayton and Bridges next to Booker.

I'd be surprised if that was the case. I can see the 4th year being a partial guarantee but with the $ CP3 could have gotten elsewhere, doubt he leaves that much $ on the table.

The Rockets seem like they might actually try and win next season. Jalen Green is likely to be able to come in and contribute right away. They traded future picks to nab Sengun. They kept Nwaba. They added Theis in a way that preserved their MLE which suggests another addition is incoming. They want to try and use Avery Bradley in a S&T. They still have Wall, Gordon, Wood, KPJ, Martin, Tate. So in a nutshell, Theis makes more sense.
I had no idea what Detroit was doing last offseason, so makes sense they confound me this season. Let's pay 20 picks for Charlotte to take Plumlee, just to I can pay up for a different veteran C in Olynyk. Granted his ability to stretch the floor should be good for Cade, Hayes, Bey etc. but still.
And now Detroit just signed Trey Lyles.
