Not exactly pro football but it's a strong rumor that Bob Stoops will be Florida State's next coach.

Drafting him in my main league - over guys like Lamar and Dak - was such a massive mistake. Also drafted him in our Scout league
Then again I drafted Baker in one of my leagues and Winston in my other.
I suck at picking QBs

I avoided Cam because Ive had him in previous years and I already knew he would be hurt at some point. Bigger question now is what do the Panthers do? He's only a 2 million dead cap hit next year but if they keep him, they are on the hook for 18 million. I'm starting to think his days in Carolina may be over. Bears, Bucs and Titans would be a likely choices if he is cut, IMO. Have to imagine Bears would be at the top of the list. I'd take him but not sure if they would pay him while still having Mitch on the roster.

I won't want Cam in fantasy or as my starting QB on my team. I'd cut em for sure.

In my main league I drafted Cam + Ben thinking I'd be covered in case one got hurt.
Fail.

lol yea..that sucks. While Winston isn't the greatest real life QB..he puts up good fantasy stats, so I kind of survived when Brees went out. But I'll ride Brees for rest of the season.

AB's meeting with the NFL apparently didn't go to good lol. As he's ranted on Twitter & IG and he's quit the NFL again..but I don't see them letting him back in anyways. He's saved him money, so just stay out of legal trouble (or anymore of it)

Way too turnovers with Winston. What he gives you in yards, he takes away in fumbles and interceptions. I think he's #1 in terms of most turnovers since 2016. Far as Cam goes, I'd take him if the price is relatively cheap. But that's only because I have no faith in Mitch. I still don't think the Bears will look at him though.

Once Carlson missed that extra point to only have a 26-24 lead, after going 49/49 prior on extra points, I thought for sure the Chargers were going to come back and somehow win it on a last second FG.
Luckily for Raiders fans, the Chargers absolutely blew it. Yeah they only had 58 seconds left but they just needed about 35 or 40 yards to get into FG range and had all 3 timeouts. This would be an easy for guys like Rodgers, Brees, Brady etc. Of course this is not that. Rivers is not that. This OL is not that.
The string of plays: Pass to some guy named Patton with 2 career receptions. Fail. Deep Pass to Patton again. Fail. Pass to Keenan Allen. Nope Pass to Keenan Allen again. Nope. Chargers luck out and Raiders commit a penalty and a fresh set of downs. Deep Pass to some guy named Moore with 2 career receptions. Fail. Deep Pass to Hunter Henry. Nope. Pass to Hunter Henry again. Nope. Deep Pass to Keenan Allen. Interception.
Didn't use any timeouts. Failed to use the middle of the field. Failed to recognize Rivers has been sucking all game and under pressure all game so throwing deep passes made no sense. Not using Mike Williams. Not using Ekeler.
I mean, as a Raiders fan this was great but as a fan of good football, holy heck this was atrocious to watch.

Phillip Rivers could have easily thrown 6 picks. 4 of them to Harris himself. He picked him off twice, picked him off again but a flag nullified the pick and almost had another one in the 4th. I don't think I've seen him look that bad.

I may be biased because I have Ekeler in fantasy but that Ekeler got only 8 touches yesterday - 6 carries, 2 receptions on 2 targets - is absurd.
Yeah Gordon is back and playing really well but to suddenly forget you have this amazing weapon who helped carry your offense early on is.. well... absurd.
If not for a blown Eddy Pineiro 41 yard FG, the Chargers would be 0-4 in games where Ekeler has less than 12 touches.

I'd give him 8 games..if he appeals..maybe drop it to 6, but an idiot none the less. Enjoy that target the rest of your career.

What's crazy is on twitter the people trying to defend Garrett because of what Rudolph did.
Here's the way I saw it and I watched it live and the thousand replays:
Garrett tackled Rudolph hard and stayed on top of him.......Rudolph tried to get him off him - and yes, did try and rip Garrett's helmet off......Scuffle ensues..... Steeler OL pushing Garrett back......Rudolph rushes up to Garrett and depending on who you ask either punched Garrett in the nuts or was just trying to get his helmet back..... Garrett then swings the helmet like a jack hammer onto Rudolph's head and was just lucky that Rudolph's head was leaning backwards at that moment because that could have hit him square in the face and done significant damage (not that getting hit on the head is ideal either)...... then Pouncey went black and into a rage defending his QB punching/kicking Garrett.... and some jackass Browns player needlessly knocked Rudolph down
Did Rudolph contribute to the melee? Yeah. Look, I can understand why Rudolph acted the way he did. His team was losing. He was having a horrific game. Garrett was just rubbing it in with the excessive contact on that tackle and holding him down. Clearly frustrated and angry and that'll make people do stupid things. What I don't get is what the heck was Garrett was thinking. What on earth drove him to that action. Your team is 8 seconds away from a HUGE division win and you did that??!?!?
Garrett deserves 10 games but will likely get 6. Pouncey, while his actions were understandable, should get 1 or 2 simply because of the actions of punching/kicking Rudolph shouldn't get any. Period. He deserves some blame but none of what he did isn't anything that is common place in NFL games. I am bamboozled by those who think he should get suspended at all - much less the same as Garrett, which I've seen on twitter. You people are nuts. That dude who pushed Randolph down should get a hefty fine.
But those people saying this will stain Garrett's career..... yup. Just ask Albert Haynesworth, Vontaze Burflict. Or even a guy like Pete Rose. He's known just as much for his dirty collission into Ray Fosse as he is for gambling and being blackballed from the HOF.

I expect till the end of the season for Myles Garrett.
I disagree about Rudolph, EE. He kicked him in the n*ts. Now you can question whether he was trying to get Garrett off of him but that's illegal too. Because lets be honest: If Garrett doesn't go crazy and we look at it how it was, people would be calling for Rudolph to be suspended too. I think the fact he got clocked in the head is the only reason why people aren't.
Pouncey should get 2. He defended his teammate but he was in the wrong too.
I'd give Rudolph 1 game Garrett - 8 games (or end of the season) Pouncey - 2 games.

Myles Garrett suspended indefinitely with a min of the regular season and playoffs according to ESPN.
Browns’ DT Larry Ogunjobi suspended one game.
Steelers’ C Maurkice Pouncey suspended suspended three games.

This. I didn't see it as Rudolph intentionally kicking him in the nuts at that stage no more than did I see it Rudolph intentionally having his hand in the nuts later in the scrum.
Rudolph did his part in escalating it for sure but I've seen enough NFL scuffles to view his actions/reactions as weirdly commonplace in those situations. Right or wrong. I mean, he MIGHT get suspended 1 game just because the NFL would want to not lay all the blame on Garrett because that isn't fair and there is enough outcry against Rudolph where the NFL might want to not look soft and appease that particular population

Rudolph is on the ground trying to take off Garrett's helmet and then he kicks him. Doesn't excuse Garrett's actions but I don't think the guy who initiated it (or helped initiate it) should get nothing at all.

Juju was knocked out of the game with a concussion in the 2nd quarter. At the time he had 4 targets. So had he stayed in the whole game, with the Steelers behind, he probably would have finished with 10 targets..... to the tune of 5 catches for 48 yards or something because Randolph sucks and seems like the bulk of his reads are "long bomb to Washington or Johnson" or "dump off to McDonald or Samuels", which is why Juju has sucked for the most part. What a bust as a fantasy pick.

The NFL is hurting the Steelers by not suspending Rudolph, he of 4 interceptions and a 13.8 QBR last night. Only reason they even had a 3 game winning streak going into this game was the defense against the Rams, blown 43 yard FG by Vinatieri and playing the Dolphins at home.

I drafted Juju with that belief but honestly, I think the loss of Antonio Brown can't be understated. My concern with Juju was that as the #1 receiver he'd draw more coverage but I felt Ben and Juju were good enough to overcome that and that at the least there would be volume. Also Conner not being very good hasn't helped either. Conner has 632 total yards in 8 games total this season. And 150 of that came against Miami. Through 8 last year he had 1085 yards.
Despite being 5-5 this will end up being a lost season for the Steelers and I can't imagine they look at Randolph or Juju or Conner and think they have their QB, WR1 and RB1 of the future. With Conner it's health. With a better QB maybe Juju steps up but it's not encouraging right now.

I still think Juju is WR1 Conner ehh..you can say if he's healthy, which is isn't very often is a RB1 QB...I might would be drafting in in rounds 3-5 lol
Never know..Kap might be throwing to him next year

I'd like to think Juju is a WR1 as he does have the talent and skill, and I am biased since he is a USC kid, but he has yet to prove it without AB. Gotta be able to overcome the extra coverage and being shadowed by the very best. We'll see with a different QB situation - be it Ben next season or a new QB.
Here's the thing with Conner. It's not just injuries. Dating back to last season, in his last 14 games, he has ONE game over 65 rushing yards - and that was the aforementioned Miami game. He catches passes so it helps him as a fantasy player but as a real life RB, I just don't see it.
Ben will be 38 next season. Rudolph is looking like a poor man's Andy Dalton. Devlin Hodges is an unknown but he's really just a 3rd string / training camp type guy. So they definitely need to get another QB. Would they go for a Kellen Mond from A&M, Montez from Colorado or wait a little longer for maybe a Sam Ehlinger from TX. A fun pick would be Jalen Hurts.
