Garbage time is a killer in fantasy if you're on the wrong end. When it was 24-7 with 2:58 left in the 3rd and Montgomery fumbled it - which btw shouldn't have happened because the refs should have called the play dead due to forward progress - it was:
Dak - 90 passing yards 0 TD (my main league: 3.6 points)
Amari - 1 for 15 (2.5 points)
Gallup - 2 for 32 (5.2 points)
After 5 drives in the late 3rd and the 4th, they ended with:
Dak - 334 passing yards and 1 passing TD (20.36 points) Amari 6 for 83 and 1 TD (20.3 points)
Gallup 6 for 109 (19.9 points)
So yeah, this trio collected 49.26 fantasy points on those last 5 drives. FWIW so did Zeke with a rushing TD and a couple catches and then Witten/Jarwin (combined 11 for 87 in the game) on small chunk plays.

Yep..half time I saw he had 2.5 points and was feeling good, then garbage time screwed me. I didn't like my chances anyways..got lucky to even make playoffs

I agree with Mitch needs to run more..he looked agile and had some speed..but was very much trying to avoid contact. I get it with his injuries. But I for sure couldn't see him stretching a 6 yard run to a first down if he knew he was going to take a beating for it.

He slides way too quickly. I get it but at the same time he is missing out on a fair amount of rushing yards.

Juju out again Week 14. With 3 games left, through 10 games Juju has a 38-524-3 line Far cry from his 111-1426-7 from last season.
Conner out again week 14 With 3 games left, through 8 games Conner has 390 rushing yards, 30 for 242 receiving and 6 total TDs Far cry from his 973 rushing yards, 55 for 497 receiving and 13 total TDs
These were my first two picks in my main league. En route to a 4-9 record and last place.

That was rough to watch, but I don't know what anyone was expecting. When the Browns left in 95, fans literally tore the stadium apart on their way out.
Also, somehow we can be 1-13 and still not have #1 locked up. Eat my butt Giants, Dolphins and Redskins.

While I'm not defending the Raiders' fans actions in any way in terms of throwing garbage on the field and altercations with security, this was another pitiful performance that deserved being booed. The team went from 6-4 and looking like a potential playoff team to getting crushed 33-116 in their prior 3 games to this weekend and then not even having the ability to "rise up" and beat a 4-9 team starting Gardner Minshew and without their best WR in DJ Chark in their last home game in Oakland. Carr is looking like a mediocre game manager - except he doesn't have the running ability that others on that level do. The best compliment you can give Carr is he's not in the bottom 5 among QBs but that's mostly because of the existence of guys like Kyle Allen, Duck Hodges/Mason Rudolph, David Blough, Drew Lock, Dwayne Haskins and Philip Rivers.

Josh Gordon has the tools to be an elite wide receiver. It's unfortunate he just gets in his own way.
I also would prefer people stop retweeting Antonio Brown. I don't follow him for a reason and I legitimately lose brain cells anytime I come across his brand of gibberish.

Via RW: "NFL Network's Mike Silver reports Jarvis Landry is one of "multiple" Browns players who yelled "come get me" to the Cardinals' sideline on Sunday. "
Remember when everyone was all up on the Browns this season?
A lot of things can be blamed for their disappointing season but truth is Freddie Kitchens was just a terrible coaching choice. He simply does not have what it takes on any level to control this group of egos.

you know I was excited to see the team at 6-4 and was right there thinking about playoffs.. but I am glad they won't get there as that record was fool's gold.. I've soured big time on Carr.. he's a great person but not 'it' for a QB.. maybe it was the injury or the change in playcallers or in this year's case a lack of confident WR options.. perhaps the Raiders package some picks to move up for a new QB in the draft.. another long off-season

Only 2.9M of Carr's 21.5M 2020 salary is guaranteed if waived by February 5, 2020. The dead cap hit is just 5M. So the Raiders can easily get away from him IF they so choose to this offseason.
Personally, my ideal situation is they can draft Tua with one of their two 1st rd picks - obviously sliding in the draft due to his injury - and they keep Carr for 2020 so they can redshirt Tua. They can then cut Carr after next season with no guaranteed money left and just a dead cap hit of 2.5M and hand the team over to a healthy Tua who has had a year with the team and learning the playbook.
They would also do well to use the a 1st or 2nd rd pick on a WR prospect. Sure the team has a lot of other needs but we tend to forget this team expected to have Antonio Brown. It's quite a dip to end up with Tyrell Williams as your lead WR. Really this team was just TE Waller and RB Jacobs and not much else on offense - and the team could frankly do well to expand Jacob's role in the pass catching game. This team needs that extra weapon. Extremely unlikely CeeDee Lamb is there so options could be Antonio Gandy-Golden, Laviska Shenault Jr, Tee Higgins, Justin Jefferson, Tamorrion Terry, Gabriel Davis or Jalen Reagor.
Of course some team ahead of the Raiders could poach Tua and screw that whole plan up. Miami could very well just stick with Fitzmagic for next season and do the same with a redshirted Tua. Chargers could go Tua behind Rivers in a final year. Panthers are an option. Of course this could leave Justin Herbert for the Raiders, which could be interesting too.

Can't see the Raiders keeping Carr for a stopgap at 21.5 million just to reshirt Tua though. If Carr plays well and the Raiders do well in their inaugural Vegas season, going to be hard to cut him for Tua who may still have questions surrounding his injury. If Carr fails, it's an expensive mentor/stopgap for a team that could use that money in other places.
And as you said, it's not guarantee they get Tua. I'd think the Raiders would just cut ties with Carr, if he's not their #1 guy going forth, and head into the free agency and the draft with a plan to sign a backup QB and approach the draft with a plan to get one of the top QB prospects. You've got a free agency class of potentially Cam Newton, Andy Dolton, Marcus Mariota, Jameis Winston and others to sign for a place holder which is likely less than 20+ million/yr.

Raiders rule out Josh Jacobs for week 16 and put RT Trent Brown on IR. Both obviously very solid long term pieces, so this is obviously the team flashing that the team is looking to 2020 - and the move to Vegas.
In other news, the Jags fire Tom Coughlin. Terrible choice as VP of Operations. Guy needs to just retire at age 73 and two Super Bowl Rings.

Stunner if it's not the LSU QB
Funny hearing some Bengals clap back at Bengals fans for supporting the loss and how they should ALWAYS want the team to win.
Shut up.
Your team was 1-13 entering the game. You have yourself to blame for putting your fans in this position by sucking. Also, in what reality should a fan care more about a 2-13 record than potentially getting a pick that can drastically impact the team for years to come?

Lynch is the "feel good" story but they should sign CJ Anderson. He actually was on a roster to start this season, meaning he's more likely to be in game shape and let's not forget what CJ did last year as a late season signing by the Rams (December 18). All he did was go for 422 rushing yards 4 rushing TDs his first 3 games.

We did root for you guys....when you were 0-4, 0-5, 0-6...and there was a chance of turning things around. When it became apparent that this L cinches the #1 pick in what is now (post Tua injury) a 1 QB draft, don't be naive and think that we want to see you eek out two meaningless wins so we can draft a LB at #3 instead of potentially getting a franchise QB. Around here it seems about 60/40 Burrow/Young. I think that's obviously largely due to the tOSU fanbase/Bengals fanbase overlap. And partially because people treat this like Madden and "just suck next year, get #1 again and take Lawrence too". As if it's that easy. IMO, the pick has to be Burrow. I understand why people are nervous about the 1 season wonder aspect, but doing what he did in the SEC and the way he specifically torched Bama, Auburn and Georgia....he's the guy.

Has to be Burrow, not questions asked. He's an Ohio kid that actually wants to play for the Bengals.
They'll win 3-4 games and can draft a defensive stud next year

Giants went from 2-11 and 2nd worst record - and likely Chase Young - to 4-11 and 5th slot. Ask Giants fans how good they feel about winning the last 2 games.
(Although I think they'd feel really good about a W in Week 17 because it further crushes the Cowboys)

Via Mort: "Clarity to calm down the masses - the @steelers are now optimistic Ben Roethlisberger will recover from elbow surgery to reattach three tendons. Not cleared to throw yet but he is tracking better and Ben himself wants and expects to play in 2020 and beyond, per sources."
Getting Ben back next season will be huge BUT the guy will be 38 next season and dealt with various ailments even before this past season. With Rudolph looking mediocre at best and Hodges being downright awful, the team would do well to go back to the drawing board for their long term answer at QB. Granted guys like Dobbs, Landry Jones didn't work out in the past but they gotta keep trying. Jacob Eason, Jake Fromm, Steven Montez, Jalen Hurts or Jordan Love is there for their 2nd rd pick.
They have a stout defense, capable OL and weapons at WR/RB. Outside of QB, they could use a TE. It was Heath Miller for like a decade and then since it's been several years of Jesse James and Vance McDonald. In other words they've basically had a poor man's Jason Witten for 15 years. Not saying it's a white guy thing but more so just not a particularly explosive player who is more of a safety blanket than big play guy - except Witten did it way better. He had 8 seasons of 850+ yards. These Steeler TEs..... nada. Not to mention Vance can't stay healthy.
Rooting for this team to get back to glory. Seeing AB go crazy and Lev Bell kind of suck on the Jets and then seeing how terrible Rudolph/Hodges were and yet they managed to go 8-7 and stay in the playoff hunt into week 17 impressed me a lot.

Seems like they are just kicking the tires on him. It would be scary but even if he's signed he's likely headed to the Commissioner's Exempt list so it sounds like a move more towards next year than this year. If you can get him cheap though, that's scary.
