If we were to add 2..I'd vote DD or Triple Doubles and Fouls I can't really see how to strategies fouls..so kind of let the chips fall on that one

My other league has actually all 3 of those. So i'm cool either way because already used to it.

If we add two, I'd prefer DD and fouls. But I'm fine with keeping it the same. Whatever the consensus is.

Got one more fantasy football draft tonight, then I will switch to basketball mode and get you my list of keepers.
I vote for leaving the cats the same - but will just go with the flow if you decide to make changes.

FWIW, while I'd be OK with adding two more cats, I'd lean towards status qup.

So is the list of available players right now all the non keepers or will some be removed?

Paul George
Marc Gasol Josh Smith Omer Asik
Those were my keepers in 2013. Funny how Paul George found his way back on to my team.... only to be ceremoniously discarded because he's always injured. Much like how he found his way off my team in 2014 because, well, the broken leg thing. Of course I just ended up ruing my lack of patience because from 2015 to 2019 he was a stud - and I traded back for the still good but broken down version of him.
Anyhow
Confirming:
AD Dejounte Haliburton Bam Siakam

Damn, going with Allen over the Fox. Vars said he's locking up the FG%, blocks & rebounds categories fellas.
I would have gave JJJ the boot, blocks are great..but I need some games played.

Damn, going with Allen over the Fox. Vars said he's locking up the FG%, blocks & rebounds categories fellas. It was tough because Fox came on the latter part of the season. But he's playing roughly 50+ games a year (average 56 over last 3 years) and the biggest sacrifice here is steals. He's not much of an assist man or 3 point shooter and though it's sacrifice in points there as well, Allen's rebounding, blocks and FG% can help make some areas and also let me focus on wing players in the draft.

Yea, I'm gonna have to draft a big in the 1st round, but will be tough to pass on FVV, Fox, PG13, Derozan, Brodie, etc.

After the AS break, 29.3ppg 4.0rpg 7.5apg 1.2spg 2.3 3pg 50.2fg% 36.8 3fg%
It was only 11 games but the Kings more or less just shut him and Sabonis down to further tank the season.
I definitely think Fox will be a beast with Haliburton gone and with the likes of Huerter/Monk playing next to him in the backcourt. Also think Keegan Murray and a healthy Sabonis really gives him a lot more room to operate, as a scorer and passer.
The injuries are obviously the primary concern with Fox but at this stage, how many of the great players don't have that cloud over their head. A few but not many. Also the average of 56 over the last 3 years sounds worse than it is because need to consider 2 of those seasons were COVID-shortened by 10 games. So if you extrapolate it to an 82 game season, he's actually averaging 61 games. Which granted is still not ideal that he misses basically 1/4 of the season.
Not advocating for Fox over Allen but more so defending Fox - who I have as a keeper in the "other league" haha

I'm expecting Davion Mitchell to progress this year as well so I was also concerned how much that would affect Fox's stats. Add in Sabonis for a full year and a new coach with Mike Brown, I'm not sure how open the floor will be for Fox. Hopefully Brown has learned a lot from Golden State because Sacramento, on paper, has some weapons with Fox, Mitchell, Sabonis, Murray, Harrison Barnes, Huerter and Monk. But I don't know if 29 ppg for Fox is something that was long term sustainable and now needed with the those weapons the Kings have.

There's this other guy that was no pushover either who's ranked higher than Foxy
Jrue stuff that sheets too.
Plenty of wings/guards to feel your needs tho..harder to draft a Gobert/Allen

Well no, I did not intend to imply Fox would replicate the stats from those 11 games but more so pointing out what he was able to do without Haliburton and that I think he will be a beast next season.
And by "opening things up", I just meant he had more dudes to pass to and also defenses can't key in on him. Should make him largely more efficient as a scorer and hopefully prop up those assist totals. I also think a full year with Sabonis, who is an excellent passer, should help him get better looks.
Mitchell is solid too though and I can see a lot of Fox + Mitchell backcourts but at that stage, have to figure Mitchell would defer offensively to Fox and be more of a secondary playmaker and focus his energies on being a defensive presence.
Anyhow we'll see what Fox will do but overall I expect a solid season. Something like 23ppg 7.0apg 4.0rpg 1.5spg 2.0 3pg 48 fg% 34 3fg% is what I would expect. Albeit likely with 60 to 65 games.

To just prop what I said about seemingly everyone having the injury cloud.
Jrue is 32 and has missed 48, 42, 17, 15, 1, 15, 11, 13, 15 games the last 9 seasons. He seems like a good bet to miss 13 to 15 games. Also for Fox worth noting is 4 games he missed last season were due to COVID protocols and in 2020-2021 he missed the final 13 games due to getting a bad case of COVID. Then his games missed last season were increased because the Kings, in another losing season, shut him down. Fox said he was ready to play March 26. The Kings said nope, we are 26-48 and want a high lottery pick and he sat out the remaining 8 games. Don't get me wrong, the dude still gets banged up and misses games but the overall total the last three seasons look worse than they truly are - esp. when you account for two of the seasons being 72 games.

What's usually his thing..ankle? I honestly can't even recall watching Fox every play. Just some highlights..or Kings lowlights
Vars has become the Braves of the 90's. Always a stacked team...comes up short.

Ankle, shoulder and abdominal injuries seem to be the main things.
If you play that speed, it's just hard to stay healthy. I remember Rondo when the guy was always getting hurt.

I had like 3 keepers on IR and then when 1 came off, another 1 would go on. I said before it's only 2 players I'd give up Steph for. And neither is on the market. That said it's likely I break up the Ingram-LBJ-Gobert tandem next year and get some new faces.
