I'll get it started. In my dynasty league - we just finished our rookie draft - I have:
QB: Watson, Lawrence, Mills WR: Chase, Metcalf, ARobinson, D. Smith, Chark, Meyers, Pringle, C. Watson, Velus Jones Jr. RB: Taylor, Javonte Williams, E. Mitchell, Allgeier, M. Ingram TE: Schultz, L. Thomas DEF: NO
We start 3 WRs, 2 RBs, 1 flex
Pretty solid at WR/RB. I mean, yeah Metcalf is iffy with the Seahawks QB situation but not like I'm going to bench the guy. If I do, it's because one of Devonta Smith, DJ Chark or Christian Watson blow up, which would be great. Meyers is good depth and will be a nice bye week filler. Pringle is the #2 WR in Chicago and I guess that means something. Velus Jones Jr. is the #3 so I just threw a dart on him with my last rookie pick.
Obviously my QB situation is a bit influx with Watson. Am I excited about the prospect of starting Lawrence? Obviously not but I do expect a much better 2nd season now that he is away from the travesty that was Urban Meyer, Etienne is healthy and the team did bolster the offense with Kirk, Engram and OL additions. Frankly I'm just glad I picked up Mills at the end of last season. The team is obviously committed to him this season and he closed out last season pretty strong. If Watson is suspended, I guess I have enough to get by here just streaming Lawrence/Mills in matchups. If crap hits the bed, i'll be hitting the waiver wire/trade market
Debating on whether or not I should drop Pringle for a 3rd TE. The idea of having Pringle and Jones Jr. is kind of gross but Pringle is one Mooney injury away from basically becoming Amon St. Brown in terms of "Well I got no one else to throw to". Schultz is locked in as my starter but his not signing a long term extension with DAL makes his future iffy. Logan Thomas is solid but coming off an injury plagued year, is 31 and the team has drafted a TE in the 4th and 5th round the last two years, so there is competition. Guys like Hurst, Brevin Jordan, Alie-Cox, Jonnu Smith are out there, as well as rookies in Woods, Dulcich, Otton (i.e. only McBride was drafted). This being dynasty I do need to keep 2023 and beyond in mind.

Also in my main league, we already determined our draft order
I have pick 3.
PPR. Same set up as the dynasty league.
Right now, based on ADP, the top are JT, CMC and Ekeler. Yup. CMC. He of 10 games in 2020 and 2021. Also he who was a fantasy behemoth in 2018 and 2019.
If Taylor and Ekeler go top 2, I'm honestly going to have a hard time gambling on CMC.
So if I fade CMC, really my decision would be do I instead go Henry/Najee/Cook or WR.
I love Kupp/JJ but I'd be hard pressed to go WR this high given position scarcity at RB. Henry is a beast. He's also 28, major mileage, coming off a major injury, useless in the passing game and Titans drafted a nice rookie in Haskins in the 4th round.
Cook is solid but consistently banged up and honestly 3 is a major major reach. Najee is one of the few "bellcow" RBs in the league who contributes as a rusher/receiver. He was wildly inefficient last year though and just relied big time on volume. Can he keep it up? How will he be under Trubisky or Pickett? Can I really draft him over Kupp/JJ?
Ugh. Honestly I just hope whoever is #2 buys into the CMC hype and drafts him and I can get Ekeler.

The Arizona Cardinals are giving Kyler Murray a five-year, $230.5 million deal that includes $160 million guaranteed, a source told Adam Schefter. Murray is now the second highest-paid QB with an average at $46.1 million per year.
10-7

Bucs sign Julio Jones. This after signing TE Kyle Rudolph recently.
QB: Brady, Gabbert, Trask RB: Fournette, R. White, K. Vaughn, Bernard WR: Evans, Julio, Darden
WR: Godwin, T. Johnson, S. Miller WR: Gage, Perriman, Grayson TE: Rudolph, Brate, Otton
This team is really stacked on offense for Brady. White was a beast at ASU last year and an exciting backup/long term option behind Fournette The WR room has age/injury concerns but on paper that's insane depth.
Rudolph hasn't been relevant in some time but he's a 6'6" TE and red zone threat. It's not Gronk but him and Brate make for a good 1-2 punch.

Oak playing the guy who rostered Hock makes me feel (slightly) less bad about dropping Freiermuth!! 😁😁😁

Oak playing the guy who rostered Hock makes me feel (slightly) less bad about dropping Freiermuth!! 😁😁😁 I played that dude in my home league. Lost by .8 points, mainly due to Aaron Jones never getting on the field in OT.

Hock and a couple other big games helped me make up for the dumb decision to start London/Cooper over AJ Brown/Cooks. WTF was I thinking?</abbr>

In my dynasty league - where we keep 17 - where I had already lost Eli Mitchell to IR, I now lost Javonte for the season and potentially Taylor for some time if he has a high ankle sprain.
My remaining RBs were Allgeier, Pacheco, Jordan Mason.
Allgeier might be interesting with Patterson on IR but I'm not about ready to plug him in and I still wouldn't have a viable RB2.
I finished 3rd in this league last season and am 2-2. The waiver wire is barren and I'm not ready to throw in the towel on this season. So I messaged the league I was ready to deal.
Someone offered me Dillon/Wilson/2023 1st/2023 2nd for Chase/D. Watson/2023 5th/2023 6th
I said throw in Aiyuk and it's a deal and he accepted.
(A) This gives me badly needed RB depth as I'd go from 0 startable RBs to 2.
Wilson is actually the ideal fit because I have Mitchell, so might as well own the Niners backfield Dillon has been underwhelming since week 1 but he's still seen a lot of work and I think he is a great dynasty asset given A. Jones' age
(B) Watson is suspended still and useless to me and with Lawrence/Goff, I'm actually OK at QB.
(C) I love Chase but guy has gotten 28.1 points for me in this league the last 3 weeks. So I was actually more willing to sell him now than ever. I like Aiyuk, both this season and long-term. He's obviously not Chase but he gives me a viable WR replacement for my lineup. Plus he has gotten 25.9 points the last 3 weeks, so production wise it's not some dramatic drop off. Obviously Chase has the upside for bigger games ahead but Burrow/Higgins seems to be the connection.
(D) The 2023 draft class is said to be loaded and with 4 picks in the first 2 rounds, big time ammunition to add prospects or have trade chips.
Dynasty leagues are hard to navigate. Last season I made it to 3rd on the heels of Javonte/Taylor/Chase and not much else. This year, whatever success I have, will have to be due to the depth I've assembled based on various moves.

Picked up Melvin Gordon, since I'm 4-0 and 6 RB's now, figured why not.
I got Dak off waivers too since he was sitting there and I figured somebody would have picked him up by now..so I'll plug him in week 7 then drop him.
DJ Moore is on the wire, Im hoping he's there after week 7 when I drop Dak

Moved to 5-0 in my $ league..beat the 2nd place team by 80pts. My team is pretty good, even if I regretted drafting James Conner.

Still have one matchup to be determined but in the five matchups determined:
3-2 3-2 2-3 (lost by 0.56 points)
2-3 4-1 1-4 (was 0-4 so yay for that first W)
Then in one undetermined, I am up 8 with Carr and my opponent has CEH. I win I move to 4-1
So thus far a fairly decent start
