Yeah, can't believe some idiot trade Hayward away
Oh wait

On the bright side, Otto Porter Jr. finally showed signs of life. 18 points 4 threes against the Lakers. Then he had 13-4-2 with 2 steals and 3 threes in just 12 minutes versus Atlanta.....
And then he got hurt. Because that's just how my season has gone thus far in fantasy basketball.

Oh..and for the curious..my team sucks lol..atleast until they stop babying the players and let them play. On a positive note my boy Wiggins is holding strong Wiggins gonna bump Klay out of keeper status soon.

My Scout team is being ravaged. Still have PG out, Ayton suspended, Otto Porter hurt and Teague out too. Bleh.
My deep 18 team league team isn't doing so hot either. Ayton suspended and Lowry will be out a while with a fractured thumb. Plus guys like Seth Curry/Jerami Grant/DeAndre Hunter have done little or even nothing. Out of desperation I shuffled my team and added Ntilkina and Garland to try and shore up the PG spot - which was shallow to begin with having just Lowry, Rozier and Curry to begin with. Just need warm bodies seeing minutes. I said I didn't want to get involved with that Knick PG spot but for now the guy is producing and I'll take what I can get.

Welp, Lowry with the finger and now Gordon Hayward has fractured his hand. So much for my chances of winning the title this year...
It was a fun thrill ride, these last three weeks.

Holy heck Aldridge
3 points 4 rebounds 1 assist 1 block 2 turnovers 4 fouls 1/4 shooting in 26 minutes
He's still productive but this is his 3rd utter crap game out of 9 games played

Yeah, watched a bit of the game. Time Lord had the game of his life and made EVERY shot a highly contested one. Not too worried about LMA just yet.
Unlike Lowry, Hayward and PJ Washington all getting hurt in the last 48 hours.

I was looking at the box score of the Grizzlies/Mavericks game and it actually said Ja Morant sat due to "rest". Teams load managing 20 year old rookies less than 10 games into the season now?
Also I had no idea DLo went for 52-9-5-3-2 on Friday. Then followed it up with 30-3-7-2-0. Shot above 50% both nights. More importantly both losses. Warriors plan of tanking while inflating DLo's trade value is working brilliantly thus far.

I think they are managing Morant off the knee surgery he had back in June. Probably smart for the Grizzlies as they are still a few pieces away from anything resembling contention.
I'm so hyped for D'Lo. I think we had a discussion about him on the old board that I was a proponent of at least giving him and Lonzo a year as the backcourt (pre-LBJ) to see if it could work. But hopefully, if he isn't in the long term plans for GS, that someone interesting will step up for him. I know there was talk about Minnesota being very into him and him and KAT could be a beautiful fit.
Back to fantasy hoops: Glad to see Capela coming back around into form. I wasn't buying that RW would eat his boards in half and I was getting a bit nervous I might have been wrong on that. Also, Luka is Baby Harden for the next decade!

May as well just call Caris LeVert, Caris LaHurt as the guy injures his thumb. Luckily he did it after two mediocre games - I say sarcastically My Scout Team now has 5 guys either Injured or Out. Easy to see why I went 1-7 last week.

Good news is PG13 should be back this week. But I feel you.
I hope Oladipo/Middleton/Hayward and Lowry enjoy their vacations together.

Injuries? ohhh so yaw are just now joining the injuries club huh. Yea Blake and Kanter missed 10 each. Butler 3, Winslow 5, Adams 3 and counting so yea..sucks and I hate I even waited on Kanter..he's good for rebounds and FG%..but there's a major logjam at Center now so he's not worth my time. shout out to my Wiggins tho...my man!

I had already updated my roster a couple days ago.
Moved Teague to the INJ spot in preparation.
I was kicking myself for the Hayward trade but at least that's one less injury I would have had to worry about. Carter had a bounceback game (13-16-2 with 2 blocks) and Smart will benefit in Hayward's absence.
Not that I am even remotely enjoying Hayward being hurt. He's a solid player and I was happy to see him doing well given what he has dealt with in terms of injuries. This setback for him is definitely a bummer but luckily not too serious and not a lower body injury.

I woke up this morning with full intentions of adding Favors and dropping Kanter..but Mark is in those off the wall hours where he lives so he got him last night/this morning
Warriors play right much the next 10 days so I'll see how WCS works out.
Having Blake back last night was much much needed..but they are going to baby him along which is lame.

Yeah. Injury aside, I'm still happy with the Hayward trade. A fracture in his non shooting hand isn't going to be some huge mountain to climb back from. And before he was hurt, he definitely was looking like he was all the way back physically and mentally from the leg injury and was showing glimpses of Utah Hayward.
If that's the case, he's a lock as a keeper moving forward.

Keeper status huh? How you gonna do your boys Khris & LaMarcus like that?
Fully healthy I think you're the team to beat..no thanks to Obie for laying AD to you on a silver platter with #77 racking up Triple Doubles too

Eh, this seems like it's the start of the decline for LMA. He'll still have his games, but the halcyon days of 22/10 nightly are probably gone.
We'll see how it shakes out (Oladipo just hot assigned to the G League affiliate) I would be open to keeping something along the lines of: AD, Luka, Hayward, Dipo, "X" (maybe Middleton, maybe Capela, maybe someone who isnt even on the team yet).

Eric Gordon out 6 weeks with knee.. = another 10 shots and 6 free throws for Harded He can be had for 2 keepers lol
Rockets will need some help, even if Gordon has sucked this year

Free agent guard Iman Shumpert is signing with the Brooklyn Nets, league sources tell ESPN.
not good news for Levert owners..as he's going to see a specialist to see how bad ligament damage is, so they may be expecting a while. Atleast my team is getting healthier..can't say the same for Team EE

I have 2 leagues. I only have 2 players in both leagues. Ayton suspended 25 games for a diuretic Levert who is now injured
Nice to see my terrible fantasy luck from the football season is transferring over.
I appreciate that my friend who is in 1st place in my main league continues to remind me that we were the last two to choose QBs in our league and I chose Cam and left him Lamar Jackson. Thanks!

Lemme know.. Basically it would leave me running Team Kawhi, which is dead last. And melbourne takes over running Zion team..and can trade the bigs to EE who needs bigs for example..or Thunder for his Hayward/Middleton/Dipo conundrum.

Post by YoungThundercat on Nov 14, 2019 8:57:01 GMT -5
So Melbourne to Zion -> Oak to Melbourne -> ? to Oak?
Is that right?
Wouldn't bother me, since I think Oak's team is an easier sell to a new owner

Post by doakley8 on Nov 14, 2019 9:01:18 GMT -5
I told Melbourne..I think his keepers are better personally..but was offering him, if he declined..going to Obie..then EE..and so on. He said he would make the move and take over Team Zion
Leaving me running Team Kawhi/Simmons/Russell/Unicorn/SGA until we find an owner.
Melbourne is probably most active owner..and he's not afraid to trade..but he's not taking no BS offers lol. I'd make the change Sunday night after his battle with EE ends.
and I'll try to dig Team Kawhi out of last place.
Team Zion is stacked...with too many bigs..so he may share the wealth

yea.. Team Oak(Harden & Co.) gets nothing out of this..I was just seeing if anybody wanted to sell their team and buy Team Zion
Technically...Team Kawhi would be up for sale next

I mean, I'm alright with it as long as all parties are good. And it's probably cleaner than both of you disassembling the teams with 100 trades.

yea, If he can move like Turner and get a solid guard..or flip Bryant for like a Rubio..and gets his assists and steals up..to go with the rebounds/blocks/FG%..it's a top 5 team.
Team Kawhi has to deal with load management with him and Porzingis but you got Simmons..Russell..SGA
*oh..and how far along in the week until we say something about Obie possibly upsetting Thunder lol
